Theory About Brave

Now I’ve been thinking about this for a little while and have come up with this theory about what’s going on in Brave based on what I’ve seen from the trailers. It might be completely wrong, but I guess I’ll find out when the movie comes out!  So here we go.

Meredith has three main suitors. A brain-dead fat giant, a drama queen ladies man, and the short one who was dropped on his head as a babe. Clearly none of these are going to be the man for her, so I was wracking my brain to find a solution. Thenit hit me. Bears.

If you pay attention in the trailers, Meredith has three younger triplet brothers. At one point you also see three small bear cubs, who pull faces at the maid and are all about the same size as the brothers. Easy to assume that there is some sort of curse going around that turns people into bears. Meredith sets out on her own with her massive horse and encounters a GIANT bear.

What I think is that this bear used to be a person too. Maybe he was a Scottish warrior who fell on the wrong side of the curse and became a ferocious bear that now terrorizes the land. Meredith could be the one who has to break the curse and turn him back into a human again.

It makes sense to me! Any thoughts?
